At a prestigious European theatre festival, the opening event is a production by a renowned Russian-born director about the conqueror Tamerlane. Just before the premiere, Tina, a young artist from Eastern Europe, joins the creative team, confident that this opportunity will elevate her career to a new level. However, when the community of Ukrainian artists protests the production, Tina finds herself in a labyrinth of uncomfortable truths and difficult choices, where it becomes clear that no one is quite who they appear to be.
The performance explores the shared responsibility of the art world and individuals in the context of war.
