Performance, two acts

The story of a woman raised by her father and of a man raised under the careful supervision of women. Although their marriage was only recently concluded, it is clear to everybody that it will not be a happy union. To everybody, that is, except the young man, academic Jørgen Tesman. For Hedda, love plays the most important role in life, but life defies her ideals, and thus her complex feelings for a very different man become devastating.
