Performance, two acts

The fate of a young woman will be decided by 12 female jurors. Is she really pregnant like she claims? If she is, she cannot be hanged. If not, off to the gallows… as the court has decided. The death sentence means that this story does not take place during the 21st century. Although the play was written in 2020, it tells the story of East England in the middle of the 18th century. However, the questions the author asks are still very relevant today. Can we agree on an important decision? Can we take responsibility for what we believe in? Can love serve as an excuse for violence?
