How many beers may one drink a day after turning 65? Is it ethical to buy fashionable clothes if you are retired? Are new glasses a luxury? At what age should one stop driving? Are adventurous nature trips a well-deserved way to relax in one’s old age or a sign of dementia?
A comedy based on a play by Anšlavs Eglītis – the witty observer of life, the Hollywood film journalist and the author of many novels – asks what would happen if one day the grandfather left his humble hut behind and started living the life he always dreamed of.
