Performance, two acts

You get up in the morning. The phone by your bed. You take it. Open your account. And see who liked you since the evening, or who wrote a comment. You open the news. War. Prices. Anxiety. No, let’s not look at that. Social media again. Everyone is happy, smiling. Isn’t that strange? Two worlds in the same device. That phone is a real hypocrite. Better not use it. Should discard it. Better speak with my partner. Yeah, she’s in bed. By me. Still sleeping. She loves me. All the time just thinks of me. My happiness is her purpose. She complements me, and I love her for that. As much as I love myself. Such partners are a great thing. Much more reliable than phones. Unfortunately, still asleep. Should take the phone. More social media. Lots of news there. Unusual. A surprise. I open. I Read. I find out that I am a degenerate that does not deserve to be on this planet. Everyone knows and has always known that. EVERYONE. Except me.
