Even in an elite school, eleventh-grade boys are still just boys. Confused, yet – when it matters – self-assured. Dreamers, yet – when needed – realists. Ready to fall in love, to cross boundaries and break the rules, but less ready to take responsibility for their actions. They are convinced that getting into prestigious universities abroad will allow them to achieve everything. But then a new teacher arrives, seeking to reshape their values and their understanding of life through art and freedom.
Production is based on motifs from the film “Dead Poets Society” by Peter Weir and Tom Schulman, as well as the authors’ experience within the Latvian education system.
