When your eyes are covered with a piece of cloth, you become a different person. Your thinking changes, as well as your body and mindset. You become a different person. You are in the unknown… alone. Suddenly, things that you took for granted require much effort and time.

Jēkabs was born to blind parents, and he does not have much room for maneuver: he just has to be responsible and understanding to meet his parents’ expectations. It is not difficult, because he knows that he is special: he is the only one who can see in the world of those who cannot. He is the only one who can see in the dark! It becomes difficult when he starts school, as he realizes that he was born to blind parents and that all of his life is just one big duty.
